Hawaii CyberCamps
The State of Hawaii, in partnership with (ISC)2 Hawaii and other organizations, are proud to have hosted this summer’s Hawaii CyberCamp program. This free program taught students the basic skills needed to administer a Windows and Ubuntu Linux systems and prepared them to successfully participate in the CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense Competition during the school year. In all, there were 18 CyberCamps with over 250 students participating. As there were only 345 (approx.) CyberCamps this summer nationally, Hawaii’s camps accounted for over 5% of the CyberCamps offered this summer!
Mahalo to our many chapter members that actively engaged and supported CyberCamps!
